When it comes to training dogs, there is one vital ingredient that we all get equally; Time.
We all have 24 hours in our day, and we all have committments that we must do within that 24 hours. We all know that it takes 10,000 hours to develop mastery.
The most committed and determined of trainers will find ways to use their 24 hours creatively to get the training time that they need. As a result, they continue to log in way more training hours every single day and week than the majority.
This means that they always know down to a minute detail what they need to work on each session, because their rehearsal is still fresh in their memories from a few hours before.
Sometimes quick sets of work only take 3 - 15 minutes, multiple times a day, but will you prioritize and alter your calendar to do it? The choice is yours.
When it comes to the most important ingredient for training dogs, we are all equal. It is up to us how we organize our calendars and schedule our days. Your success is in your hands and will depend upon your prioritizing.
